For Record Store Day 2015 Texan three-piece Khruangbin present four cover versions - Yellow Magic Orchestra, Ennio Morricone, Serge Gainsborg and Thai band Boon Praraksa - recorded in their exotic, individual sound. Taking influence from 1960's Thai funk - Khruangbin literally translates to "Engine Fly" in Thai - the EP is steeped in the bass heavy, psychedelic sound of their inspiration, Tarantino soundtracks and surf-rock cool.
